Jeff Miller is the President of Senoia Engineering Solutions – a consulting company that specializes in cost optimization and value analysis of electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
Jeff has over 35 years of experience within the automotive, off-road, and home appliance industries, serving in roles focusing on electronics and semiconductor devices at General Motors, John Deere, Standard Motor Products, Ford, Whirlpool, and Panasonic Automotive Systems. In addition to cost engineering and analysis, his experience spans multiple professional disciplines including electronics design and testing, product development, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing.
Jeff became active in cost modeling at Ford Motor Company in 2002, where he worked as a Sr. Cost Engineer for multimedia & advanced electronics and, subsequently, as the Lead Commodity Manager responsible for Ford’s buy of infotainment, multimedia, and semiconductor devices. In 2010, he joined Whirlpool Corporation as the Sr. Manager of Cost Modeling for electrical and electronic components and was later promoted to Director of Global Electronics Quality. In 2017, Jeff joined Panasonic Automotive Systems as the Director of Global Manufacturing Engineering.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from Rollins College. He is a cofounder of the Society of Product Cost Engineering & Analytics (SPCEA) and currently serves on its board of directors.
